FBI Seizes Half a Million Dollars in Ransom Payments and Cryptocurrency — DOJ Says 'We Are Returning Stolen Funds to Victims'

The U.S. Division of Justice (DOJ) has seized $500K in ransom funds and cryptocurrency from a state-sponsored North Korean group. “We’re returning the stolen funds to the victims,” Deputy Legal professional Common Lisa O. DOJ Seizes Crypto From North Korean State-Backed Group
